When I was asked if I would like to teach a four week long Enrichment class after school at Barrington Elementary, I jumped at the opportunity. I love musical theatre, and thought this would be a great way to get kids moving and active while exposing them to this art form. Musical theatre doesn't get a whole lot of attention, especially at the elementary level, but its a great tool to get students moving, singing and acting and most importantly, an opportunity to learn while having a great time! This is our final performance with second, third and fourth graders performing "It's A Hard Knock Life" from the musical "Annie".
